The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.

The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment, for example increasing its damage.

Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They are also available to players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the Best item upgrade.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to acquire these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an Best item upgrader has been reached.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at the same time. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.

Requirements

If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show an open window that displays the required requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
