Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.

Reroll Tokens

Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment such as increasing its damage.

Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you'll need an upgrade level reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is being rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional benefit or benefit while the equipment is equipped. If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
