OC, One of the stores I was looking for was Uniqlo USA. You can buy it online, but the selection is not so good. It's a store I want to stop by when I come to California. Unfortunately it's raining outside, but it's fine because we're indoors. Kapu is having fun at daycare.

I didn't really want anything, so I bought pants on sale. My husband found a pair of shorts. Japan is better after all. The price isn't that cheap either. I like this self-checkout. I used it in Japan too.

For lunch, I went to Din Tai Fung on the upper floor. You can't make a reservation, so you write your name on the list before shopping. The wait is about an hour and a half for lunch. There's one in Vegas, but it's inside the hotel so it's difficult to get there, so I haven't been there. I heard it's casino price.

Oh, they're making xiaolongbao. It must be really tiring to do that all day.

They're delicious. But they're not piping hot, so it's Americanized. I think I liked the xiaolongbao served in piping hot soup at an authentic Chinese restaurant in New York.

The noodles in peanut sauce, my husband's favorite. They were tasty as usual but started to get a bit salty towards the end.

And we wanted to go to Marugame Seimen on the floor below but we were full so we got takeout. It's been a while since we last went there and it was delicious.

My husband doesn't like udon, but they also have katsu curry and beef bowls so next time I'd like to eat inside.

The bok choy tempura was also delicious.

The rice bowls below. I think my husband would like to have that.

The weather has been bad and cold recently in both Vegas and California. It's never been a day in California where we don't see the sun before.
