Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
