From October 11, 2022 to the end of March, I rode around Japan on my motorcycle.
Strictly speaking, this is my second week in Japan!
In this blog, I write about the reckless challenges of a beginner rider.
Instagram is updated more quickly, so if you'd like, please take a look at that too ↓

For those who are reading this blog for the first time
I've returned to Kagawa's "Yado Inn TEK-TEK" again.
Actually, since today, only one of my heated gloves has been malfunctioning and the electricity won't turn on.
I asked the owner, Fujishima, "Are you good with mechanical systems?"
I took it apart and he said, "Ah, this is broken." I guess that's right... I wish I could use it for just two more months. Even though I'm going to the Kyushu area from now on, I think it's going to be cold, so heated gloves are a must. "I'll buy a soldering iron at the home improvement store tomorrow. Let's fix it with that," said Fujishima. What a nice guy (´;ω;`) And he even gave me some oden, saying "Would you like some?" He even gave me a salad made with Korean seaweed!
Fujishima-san is a good cook.
The New Year's food was delicious.
And he listened carefully to my story about the tragedy in Hyogo.
I guess I just need to let it all out and get it all out.
When I came to stay, there were hardly any guests, so I was lucky to be able to talk to Fujishima-san about all sorts of things.
Fujishima-san loves the pilgrimage.
He is also a member of the non-profit organization Ohenro Lab, and since the pilgrimage is not a World Heritage Site, there are many issues.
For example, there are not many lodgings for pilgrims.
Also, some foreign pilgrims have bad manners and sleep in places where they are not supposed to sleep outdoors, which is a problem.
If it were registered as a World Heritage Site, the government would take action and these problems would be solved, but at this stage, they are not doing anything.
I learned a lot from him, like the story of the pilgrimage mount.
I would not have heard it if I had not stayed here.
He even recommended a NisA savings plan.
"Maruyama-san, you may not have noticed because you've been living in guesthouses and share houses for a long time, but electricity bills are rising significantly every year."
That's true.
I hear about the rise in electricity bills on the news, but I don't feel a sense of crisis.
Because the price doesn't change no matter how much you use.
There's also the problem of 20 million yen in retirement, and pensions are unreliable...
I think I'll start investing after this trip is over.
Second week in Japan [Day 93]
Fujishima-san bought a soldering iron first thing in the morning and repaired it (impressed)
He fixed it beautifully!
Ahhhh, Kagawa Prefecture is the best!
I want to eat more udon, so I want to stay here.
I guess this will be the last time I eat it.
